My video is in the thriller genre and frames the subject more regularly from far away to build a sense of mystery and to create tension around the antagonist.
The costumes are superhero outfits which illustrates that this falls in the action and/or sci-fi genre. The lighting is mostly low-key apart from the main blast of high-key light which is used to portray the strength of both characters. I plan to read some parts of the media magazines. Media Magazine 70 Pages 58-63 summary: She-ra and the princesses of power is a reboot of the 1985 show of the same name and it first aired in 2018. The show had a lot of backlash for the change of art style and progressive themes. There was backlash against the art style change/ character design changes because She-ra desexualised the chatter from the 80's and mostly older males were dissatisfied with the change. Also the animation and 'CalArts' style was negatively commented on for the more simple designs but this was done for easier to animate characters and to appeal to younger audiences. What sets She-ra apart from a lot of animation especially at the time was its heavy queer representation and focus which was also critisied by people who are politically right leaning.
